Join Us in Supporting the Veterans Coat Drive

Two volunteers sort donated clothes in a second-hand shop.As the temperatures drop and the leaves fall, we’re reminded that winter brings both beauty and challenges. For many veterans and their families here in Libertyville, the cold months ahead can be especially difficult. That’s why Bennett Chiropractic Care is once again honored to support the Veterans Coat Drive.

A Small Act With a Big Impact

From now through Friday, November 21st, our office is serving as a collection point for warm winter coats. Whether you have a coat hanging in your closet that you no longer wear (many of us have one) or you’d like to purchase something new to donate, every contribution makes a meaningful difference. We’re especially in need of kids’ coats, and we welcome both new and gently used items in all sizes.

Supporting Those Who Served

All donations will go directly to Midwest Veterans Closet, an organization dedicated to supporting local veterans and their families as they prepare for the colder months. These aren’t just coats going to strangers far away. These are items that will help our neighbors, the men and women who live right here in our community and have sacrificed so much for our country.

“After serving this community for over 40 years, I’ve learned that caring for people goes beyond what happens in the treatment room. Supporting our veterans is a privilege and a responsibility we take seriously. I hope you’ll join us in making sure our local heroes stay warm this winter.” — Dr. Thomas Bennett

How You Can Help

Participating is simple. Just bring your donation to our office during your next visit, or stop by anytime during office hours. There’s no appointment necessary to drop off coats—just come by, say hello, and add your coat to the growing collection. Together, we can ensure that those who have served us stay comfortable and protected from the cold.

Every coat truly warms more than a body. It warms a heart and reminds our veterans that their community stands with them. Thank you for helping us serve those who have served us.
